Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Duenders GmbH, a Swiss company, for the use of whotheyfind.com and the WhoTheyFind dashboard. Creating an account means you accept them. We wrote them to be read, so they are short. If a sentence here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
What the service is
WhoTheyFind reads your website, reports what is holding it back with search engines and AI assistants, and drafts changes and articles for you to approve. Nothing is published to your site until a person in your account approves it, and anything we publish can be rolled back from the dashboard.
Your account
You need an invitation to create an account while we are in early access. You are responsible for what happens under your login, and for keeping it to yourself. You may connect only websites and services you own or are allowed to manage.
Free and paid
The free plan includes the audit and the site findings. The paid plan adds drafted articles and published changes, up to the limits shown on the pricing page. Prices are shown before VAT; tax is added at checkout based on your country. Payment is handled by Stripe, monthly, in advance.
You can cancel any time from Settings. The plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund the period you are in. We may change prices with thirty days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next period.
Your site and your content
Your website, its content and the data you connect stay yours. You give us permission to read them and, when you approve a change, to write to your site through the connection you set up. The drafts we produce are yours once you publish them. Some of that text is written by a language model from your own pages and profile; read it before you approve it, because you are the publisher of what goes on your site.
We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it. What we collect and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy.
What you agree not to do
Do not use the service on a site you do not control, to publish content that is unlawful or misleading, or to probe or overload our systems. We can suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why.
Availability and support
We run the service with care but do not promise it will be available at every moment. Scheduled work runs on a weekly cycle; a missed run is retried, not skipped. Support is by email, and we answer within two working days.
Liability
We are liable for damage we cause on purpose or by gross negligence. For anything else, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for changes you approved, for how search engines or AI assistants rank or cite your site, or for loss caused by a service you connected.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account from Settings or by email. We can close an account that breaks these terms, or with thirty days' notice for any other reason. When an account closes, we stop reading your site, disconnect what you connected, and delete your data as the privacy policy describes.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date above and email account owners. Using the service after the change means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
Swiss law applies. Disputes go to the courts at the seat of Duenders GmbH, unless the law of your country gives you a right to your local court.
